Bakugan Pajamas – Long Tail?
I was searching the ebay pulse which gives you the most popular searchs on ebay. I noticed that Bakugan (whatever that is?) is number eight. Now selecting a big highly searched niche goes against the spirit of the long tail (sell a few of many things rather than many of a few things like Bakugan which is popular).
So this is a subtle long tail strategy. I did my research (if the tool works well I’ll get the resel right to it and have it available here) and discovered that very few people search for Bakugan pajamas. However, there are relatively few pages for the exact keywords “Bakugan pajamas.” So I decided to make a store selling Bakugan pajams. I don’t know if this will work but it is absolutely in the spirit of the long tail.

I started this series just to give myself a lot of backlinks. But as I’m getting into it I’m having so much fun, I may one day start a blog just on the long tail. I’m being helpful to anyone reading these posts at the same time (at least in this post) I’m making the article keyword rich. Thus I have my Bakugan Pajamas mentioned quite a few times and yet this is really written for human beings but at the same time caring about the spiders and the search engines as well.

If the long tail theory is correct I should get more visitors for the long tail stores as opposed to the others even though there are many more searches for Bakugan Battle Brawlers than Bakugan Brawlers. We shall see, although it may take a year or so before I get any visitors to these pages.
